Janel B. Fredericksen

Janel's practice focuses primarily on estate planning, probate, elder law, adoption, guardianship/conservatorship, and tax. She's also certified as a mediator and has significant trial experience.

Janel is originally from Breckenridge, Minnesota. In 1991, Janel graduated from Concordia College with a double major in business administration and communications. She received her J.D. in 1994 from the University of North Dakota School of Law. During law school, Janel spent two summers as a law clerk with Smith & Strege Ltd. Upon graduation, Janel joined our firm as an associate attorney. In 2003, Janel became the third partner at Smith & Strege Ltd.

Janel, and her husband, Chad, live in Breckenridge, Minnesota. They have three children and one granddaughter.
